Chris Smith is a resident of Toronto's Jane and Finch neighbourhood. His mother, Rebecca, an immigrant from Jamaica reached out to us about helping him go to science summer camp. Throughout grade three, Chris showed an advanced knowledge of the sciences and an overall curiosity about the world around him.

Through donations to our 2016 Black Boys Matter campaign we were able to send Chris to the Ontario Science Centre's science summer camp for kids.
